Gluten Free Cinnamon Raisin Bagel French Toast

Winter seems to be holding a tight grip on the Northeast this March.  We’ve had several large storms in the past few weeks, most packing quite a punch as they knock down trees, wires, and poles.

As is the norm, local grocery store shelves empty out at record pace the day before a storm.  I’ve never been one to run to the store to pick up last minute items.  We  simply try to work with what we have on hand and weather the storm.

Gluten Free Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownies featuring Aquafaba

Not all brownies are created equal.  Some are cake-like, others are thick and fudgey, still others are ooey, gooey chocolatey squares of molten chocolate.  Which ever camp you fall into we can all agree (hopefully) that brownies basically rock!

Gluten Free Lemon Cheesecake Crumb Bars

Despite the fact that I enjoy making desserts, I am really not a big dessert eater.  I do enjoy cookies – classic cookies – but nothing fancy.   I can pass on cake, pastries, and pies.  But there is one dessert item that renders me completely helpless:  cheesecake bars.  It’s kind of ironic because one of my least favorite desserts is cheesecake.  Go figure!

Gluten Free Baked Bagel Chips

I am the mom of three teenagers…all boys…with big appetites!  I am forever amazed by their voracious appetites.  No sooner is lunch finished then someone is asking me if there is anything in the house to eat!  They never seem to stop.

Gluten Free Irish Soda Bread Scones

I am one of many whose ancestry is a fiery mix of Italian and Irish.  While I am heavy on the Italian side and light on the Irish, I do yield to my Irish side once per year.  It’s right around this time that I succumb to the traditional Irish fare of corned beef (minus the cabbage), carrots, potatoes, and soda bread.
