So much of what surrounds the holiday season centers around food. Favorite dishes. Traditional food. Hostess gifts. Special treats. Food-based gifts. It’s all so ingrained in whatever holiday you may celebrate. But what kind of gift should you give to someone who has food allergies or is gluten free?
Food allergies do not have to be troublesome to navigate during the holidays. Here are a few ideas for gift-giving. Always be sure to read labels, as ingredients can change. Check labels and contact companies directly if ingredient and food safety issues are in question.
Below you will find several affiliate links.
Gluten Free Food Gifts
Walkers Gluten Free Shortbread Assortment
(affliliate link)
I really love shortbread cookies, and before I needed to go gluten free, Walker’s was my favorite Christmas treat. Here is a pretty boxed cookie assortment from Walker’s. I love the simplicity of the ingredient list: butter, gluten free flour blend, sugar, and salt. This would make a nice food based gift or even a hostess gift.
Bonne Maman 2024 Limited Edition “12 Days of Christmas”, 12 Mini Spreads (affiliate link)
I love Bonne Maman jams and spreads. This is a super cute gift featuring 12 mini spreads centered around the 12 Days of Christmas theme.
No Whey Chocolate Advent Calendar (gf/df/nf/sf)
(affiliate link)
I grew up opening up an advent calendar every year with my brother. We clamored for each piece of chocolate. I love that No Whey has a calendar that is gluten free, dairy free, soy free, nut free, and peanut free.
Gluten Free Panettone Cake from Italy
(affiliate link)
Now this is certainly not something that you would buy everyday, and yes, the price is steep, but I do love it. What a gift this would make for someone. And, it’s from Italy. Buttery, flakey, and gluten free to boot.
Homefree Holiday Chocolate Mint Mini Cookies
(affiliate link)
I have personally had these cookies, and they are the best of the best. The taste is delicious (and I am usually not a big fan of mint flavored anything). They are top 14 free as well. I think this is a great treat to bring along to someone’s house or to bring to a holiday party for you or your child. This is a great company with great cookies!
Gluten Free Raspberry Linzer Tart Cookies in a Tin
(affiliate link)
I make Linzer Tart cookies every Christmas. But if you want to grab something for a gift or a take along to a party and want to skip the floury mess in the kitchen, these may be a win for you!
Dolci di Maria Gluten Free Classic Biscotti (Anise)
(affiliate link)
Anise biscotti brings me back to my childhood. My Nana loved to make demi tasse, and she always served anise biscotti. As a young girl, I always looked forward to sitting at her kitchen table and noshing on these. A bag of these would be a great hostess gift!
Krunchy Melts Original Meringue Cookies
(affiliate link)
Meringues are naturally gluten free (but always check the labels on commercially made ones). These contain eggs and sugar. They are a bit festive with the colored sugar sprinkles. They would make a great take along to a holiday party or a pretty hostess gift.
Bare Life: Dairy Free Coconut Hot Cocoa Mix
(affiliate link)
This is my favorite hot chocolate mix. All clean ingredients with all of the delicious taste that you want. I like the box with the individual envelopes. This makes a great gift or the perfect idea for stocking stuffers.
Gluten Free Stocking Stuffer Ideas
Stocking are a big deal in my home. Sometimes everyone clamors just to get to the stockings. I usually fill stocking with a mix of necessities and treats. I try to find some unique treats that we would not normally indulge in as well as some of our all time favorites.
SMOOCHES, 2 PACK | Allergy Friendly, Vegan Chocolate Foil Wrapped Candy
(affliliate link)
I love that these little foil wrapped chocolates are gluten free, soy free, dairy free, nut free, and peanut free. I usually try to put out some allergy friendly candies during the month of December. I am excited to try these, and I think they will look festive too.

No Whey Milkless Peppermint Bark
3-pack (affliate link)
I am planning on picking these up as a stocking stuffer for my son who is dairy free and gluten free. Who doesn’t love peppermint bark at this time of the year?
YumEarth Organic Lollipops 20ct.
(affiliate link)
These are tasty little lollipops with no artificial dyes and colors. I used to get these for my sons as an occasional treat, and they always loved them. Pop a few in everyone’s stocking.
UNREAL Milk Chocolate Covered Pretzels (3 ct.)
affiliate link
Who does not love chocolate covered pretzels? They are one of my all time favorite indulgences. I love that these are gluten free, GMO free, and fair trade. A three pack is perfect for stuffing in multiple stockings.
That’s It Natural Fruit Bars (12 bars)
(affiliate link)
These literally contain fruit and nothing else. They are also delicious. I buy these every year for stocking stuffers, and they are always the first item eaten. No guilt, just goodness. There are a lot of flavors to choose from as well.
That’s it Organic Dark Chocolate & Fig Truffles
(3 pack) (affiliate link)
My kids know that this is my kind of stocking stuffer. I seriously love these. Each truffle is filled with dried figs and covered in chocolate – each is just 23 calories (but you have to eat one, and I usually fail at that). These are great, and again, no junk.
Alter Eco Dark Chocolate Velvet Truffles
affiliate link
These are literally as smooth as velvet. If there is a chocolate lover in your home, these will not disappoint. These would be difficult to share; they are just that amazing.
The New Primal Grass Fed Meat Stick 10ct. Variety

Meat sticks are another stocking stuffer staple. These are delicious, grass fed, and a clean and healthy snack option. I like this variety pack a lot; it includes beef, chicken, and turkey meat sticks in a variety of flavors.
Bobo’s Chocolate Chip Oat Bites
(affiliate link)
These are great. I love that each of the five bites comes individually wrapped, so one box can spread across a few stocking. These come in a lot of flavors. This is a really good price. They are normally close to $5 in most stories.
The Good Bean Crunchy Chickpeas 10 ct.

These are perfect for stocking or giving as a part of a food basket. Great protein and crunch. There are several varieties as well, but be sure to check the ingredients on the flavoring.

GreenLife 12-Cup Muffin Pan, Healthy Ceramic Nonstick Bakeware

I think that these are the best all purpose kitchen towels around. They are absorbent, strong, and just do the job. A variety of colors are available.

Cuisinart WMR-CAP2 Round Classic Waffle Maker
affiliate link
I have gone through my fair share of waffle makers. This waffle maker is by far my favorite. It is not a deep, Belgian waffle maker. It produces thinner waffles, but I think it is perfect for gluten free batters. The waffles are a bit thinner, but they are crispy and void of gumminess. I highly recommend this.
Homemade Vanilla Extract Kit

Pure vanilla extract comes at a premium price. It’s incredibly easy to make your own.
Lenox 2024 Snowflake Ornament

I have a soft spot for these Lenox snowflake ornaments. They are simple and so beautiful.

So many adorable holiday pajamas in a ton of patterns for Christmas, Hanukkah, and other holidays as well.
